We invite you to join Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma, Hunger Free Oklahoma, and Regional Food Bank of Oklahoma at our annual day of action at the Oklahoma Capitol! Join us at the Oklahoma History Center on February 24, 2026.
What is Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol?
Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol is an annual day of action for anti-hunger and poverty advocates to gather, learn, connect, and mobilize with the goal of improving food access in Oklahoma. The first half of Anti-Hunger Day will kick off at the Oklahoma History Center, right across the street from the Oklahoma Capitol. Attendees will have the opportunity to learn about key legislation and decisionmakers influencing food access in our state.
Why Advocate?
Advocacy is a powerful way for Oklahomans to ensure that the realities of hunger in our communities are heard by the people who can make meaningful change. When we share our experiences, our concerns, and our hopes for a stronger food system, we help legislators understand how their decisions affect real families. Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol gives each of us a chance to speak up, build relationships with lawmakers, and elevate solutions that can reduce food insecurity across the state. Your voice matters—and together, our voices can drive lasting change.
Catered to Your Comfort Level
There are many different approaches to advocacy, and at Anti-Hunger Day at the Capitol we want to meet you where you’re at in your own personal journey as an advocate. Whether you’re interested in connecting with your state representative, or are simply hoping to learn a bit about the legislation introduced in 2026, we’d love to have you at AHD!
