Hunger Free Oklahoma offers and is involved in a handful of unique coalitions in an effort to end hunger in Oklahoma. Read on below to learn more.

Oklahoma Childhood Food Security Coalition
The Oklahoma Childhood Food Security Coalition (CFSC) seeks to improve education and health outcomes for our state’s children by increasing awareness of and access to nourishing meals outside of school hours.
Formed in 2016, the Coalition includes partners from food banks, school districts, youth development organizations, state agencies, Native American tribes, and advocacy organizations.
Oklahoma Food is Medicine Coalition
The Oklahoma Food is Medicine Coalition seeks to decrease the burden of nutrition related health conditions through increased, equitable access to Food is Medicine programs.
Co-founded in 2023, the coalition includes partners from community-based organizations, state government agencies, health care providers and organizations, food banks, insurers, universities, and more.
This coalition is co-led by Hunger Free Oklahoma and FreshRX.
